In accordance with designs by the Essen-based Förder+Demmer landscape architects, we manufactured highly aesthetic, giant, orange-colored objects for installation in Luxemburg. Very visible from afar – both in size and in color -these \"frame objects\" are positioned on a slope at the Plateau du Funiculaire.
The larch wood/composite lumber frames boast a 300 x 300 mm cross section and are primed and painted in orange.
The larch wood beams were split to allow the insertion of the pole shoe. This ensured that the joint connecting the pole shoe and wood beam would not be visible. The \"frame\", owing to its dimensions, stands in the foreground. Its play functions are secondary and have a very discreet stainless steel and hemp look.
