That is the motto of the playground located on the grounds of a former sawmill in Waltershausen. Inspired by Waltershausen’s municipal coat of arms, which depicts a fish in three trees, giant fish were installed as climbing objects high up on stilts, as if they were actually hanging in the trees.

The basic head and tail forms of the 10-meter-long fish were made with the help of prefabricated models. They were subsequently molded and then clad and laminated using glass fiber-reinforced plastic. The paint-work was also done by the sculptor and artist Sergej Dott.

The climbable parts were constructed with oak wood parts and connected to the head and tail elements. An inner space was created that is flooded with light; the play of colors within thus has quite an impressive effect. A play-and-climbing ensemble in the interior further enhances the value as a play area (suspended rubber mats and distorting mirrors, for example).

One of these play sculptures has been mounted to the floor and was equipped with a water nozzle.
By means of a hidden trigger, the water feature begins unexpectedly and is set using a value for a predetermined time frame.
Additionally, there is a balancing-and climbing-course made of robinia round timber, heavily painted and replete with maritime carvings as well as a nest swing and a see-saw.
