Especially for the Landesgartenschau in Eutin 2016, extraordinary playground equipment was designed for the Seepark. The landscape architects of A 24 designed an abstract play object for toddlers reminiscent of a folded paper boat and thus realized the wishes of the children from the youth workshop of the Landesgartenschau. For the older children, adventurous balancing courses and a "wobbly forest" were planned.
The 760 cm long and 310 cm wide, turquoise play ship was made of oak planks and waterproof laminated 3 plywood sheets made of larch.
The play object for toddlers is an abstract ship that is aesthetically oriented to paper folds. The children can climb the object via inclined planes and with the help of climbing strips and ropes. The two platforms have slides at different heights. A tunnel passes through the object and connects the areas below the platforms. Below the higher platform, sand mills are taut on ropes and complete the gaming experience.
Portholes provide views of the children and insights for their parents.

The "Wackelwald" consists of 24 podiums in different dimensions and heights. Individual trunks of robinia wood were mounted on the triangular pedestals and partly provided with spring-mounted storage.
In the "Wackelwald" the children can try out their skills. Net tunnels span over playing areas like creels and next to them ropes are stretched with feathers that invite them to crawl, shimmy and climb. There are also hanging tree houses at different heights, which are connected by a net bridge.

All facilities will remain in the Seepark after the state horticultural show - "we want to make sure that the Seepark is used more intensively", explains Maren Jeschke, "of families, of children and young people who would like to stay here."
