On a schoolyard in Langenfeld an old climbing frame had to be replaced. The planning took into account that the playground should be for students aged 10-13.

Designing a play equipment for schools means that it is subjected to a particularly heavy load. This requires not only stability and durability of the game system, but also many different play and movement opportunities.
Pupils should be able to move around and have a good time during the breaks, maybe even change their perspective and have little opportunities for retreat, which does not restrict the teachers' duty of supervision.
So in 2016, an exciting "Mikado game" was created on the schoolyard!
Several beams piled up to a high climbing mound, varied balancing tracks and half-open seating boxes to rest and hide entice the children to an active break.
