A playground in Tübingen, in the Frischlinstraße, had until two years ago a very special attraction: a 20-tonne, discarded road roller. But in the summer of 2015, the old construction machine had to be removed from the playground because of the risk of injury. The heart's desire of the children to get the roller could not be fulfilled, but Zimmer.Obst developed new and safe construction machinery for raving, climbing and balancing.

The new steamroller offers a high play value for both younger and older children. The little ones can crawl through the rollers and hide. In order to get into the vehicle, there are age-appropriate, differently heavy entries and exits. In the driver's cabin, the children expect various controls and an extra wide slide you can also leave the vehicle for two.
But the steamroller did not come alone! A concrete mixer, which was planned for older children, also stands on "Tübingen's construction site". Again, there is a driver's cab, different levels of entry and exit in the large concrete mixer, and a "concrete bowl slide". Other objects with lovingly designed details, such as construction site signs, warning beacons, rocking and bobbing elements in the form of jackhammer and traffic cones, as well as many other balancing and rocking equipment, enliven the imaginative play landscape.

In 2018, the construction site playground was equipped with another playground equipment: a high climbable construction crane with free-fall slide!
