"Overcoming borders!" Was the motto of the German Children's Fund for the World Games Day on May 28, 2016. The German Children's Fund and its partners wanted to draw attention to the fact that games for children are very important for culture and culture. and spoke across contacts and having friendships. In Barth, for example, a new meeting place was created on the grounds of the "Bertolt Brecht Shared Accommodation for Asylum Seekers and Refugees".

The new "jungle playground" offers a lot of room for imagination. A long balancing and climbing facility with various climbing climbs, a wobble bridge, a couch net, a sand game, a slide bar and a slide was created for the older children.
The younger ones got a playhouse with sand play and a wide slide. Ornaments such as palm leaves with coconuts on the posts, carved birds, boxes and barrels support the "jungle adventure".

The playground was opened with a performance of the youth toy train of the SV Motor Barth e.V., the mayor and a board member of the association WILLKOMMEN IN BARTH e.V.
